Taiwanese smart handheld device shipment volume, including Smartphones and PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) phones, is expected to hit 6.2 million units in the fourth quarter of 2007, up 27 percent sequentially and 81.7 percent year-on-year, according to Taipei-based industry research institute Market Intelligence Center.
