Spotigo’s WiFi hotspot directory contains more than 250.000 hotspots in over 150 countries and now is adapted for the user interface of the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. Spotigo offers a comprehensive search interface with a look and feel that users are familiar with from their Apple devices. It allows them to search for free and commercial hotspots in a certain area country, town, address and / or postal code. The result is displayed in a list where the users can see more details of the hotspot like provider, rates and contact details. The exact location of a certain hotspot can also be displayed on Google maps.

Daniel Pruemers, Managing Director of Spotigo states: ‘We are glad to provide the world’s largest hotspot directory now also on the iPhone. It makes the hotspot search as easy and pleasant as possible for the iPhone users. We are working on further developments for this device. Our WiFi-based Positioning Solution ‘WiPS- and our WiFi SmartClient are the perfect tools for

making this device even more useful and exiting than it is already. WiPS can be used in many different creative ways like finding the nearest metro or restaurant or receiving interesting location based content, to mention only some of them.-

The Spotigo iPhone web interface for hotspot search is live on iphone.spotigo.net.
