NTT DoCoMo said Wednesday that its president had met with Apple chief executive Steve Jobs amid reports that Japan’s top mobile telephone operator is in talks to launch the iPhone here.
“It is true that Mr Steve Jobs of Apple Inc. and our president (Masao) Nakamura held a meeting,” an NTT DoCoMo spokesman said, declining to reveal the timing or content of the discussions.
