Electric Peel Software Releases Note-A-Lator for iPhone

Cambridge, Massachusetts – Today, Electric Peel Software announced the release and immediate availability of Note-A-Lator 1.0 for iPhone, an iPhone version of their music reading quiz program. Note-A-Lator helps students learn to read music by giving them note and rhythm identification quizzes.

Note-A-Lator lets students learn independently by drawing all of their wrong answers on a staff so that they can be compared to the correct answers. It also offers advice at the end of each quiz based on the student’s performance. The quizzes are completely customizable. Students can choose which clefs, keys, accidentals and rhythms they would like to be quizzed on.

Note identification quizzes:
* Treble, alto, tenor and bass clef
* All keys
* All accidentals
* Ledger lines

Rhythm identification quizzes:
* Whole notes through sixty-fourth notes

Immediate feedback after each question:
* Incorrect answers are drawn next to the correct answer, so they can be compared
* Suggestions of what to work on next

Device Requirements:
* iPhone and iPod touch
* Requires iOS 4.0 or later
* 1.1 MB
