Achievers Writing Center presents iPhone Apps to 21st Century Schools
Charlottesville, Virginia – Niles Technology Group, the creator of Achievers Writing Center, is proud to present iPhone apps to three 21st century schools. The Achievers Writing Center apps focus on the development of strong writing skills by teaching students the critical thinking skills required to write logical, well-reasoned essays. Used independently or within a structured curriculum, the apps uniquely explain, in detail, over 40 different essay types using easy-to-read language and a clean, clutter-free interface.
“It is with great pleasure I announce that Van Meter Community School of Van Meter, Iowa, Hawkesdale P12 College of Victoria, Australia, and Stevens Elementary of Aberdeen, Washington have been selected to receive the most comprehensive product that our company has to offer,” says Michael Niles, president of the Niles Technology Group. “These schools were chosen because of their demonstrated dedication to advancing education through the appropriate and timely use of technology coupled with a teaching philosophy based on excellence.”
Each Achievers Writing Center app is a comprehensive, self-contained tutorial for a specific essay type. Students read and study the instructions and write the essay right inside of the iPhone app. No additional computer or manual is required or needed; everything is within the app. Writing excellent essays has never been more convenient.
“The goal was to initially award $5000 worth of apps to schools, but the requests and the opportunities to assist schools were more than anticipated,” explains Mr. Niles. “Instead of limiting the gifts, Niles Technology Group increased what the company is willing to do. We have since raised the total gift amount to $7500.”
All one needs to do is go to these schools websites and see what they are doing to understand why the gift was increased. However, a school could not win unless a caring, forward-thinking teacher took the time to apply. Niles Technology Group chose the three teachers that clearly demonstrated that they have their students’ interests at heart; they are Shannon Miller of Van Meter, Dana Persson-Zora of Stevens, and Anne Mirtschin of Hawkesdale. Niles Technology Group is honored to be associated with these schools and teachers.
