Quotes and sayings features thousands of English quotes from hundreds of authors around the world from “A” like Abraham Lincoln to “Z” like Zsa Zsa Gabor. With version 1.03, Quotes and sayings, the top-5 rated iPhone App in Germany, Austria and Switzerland is now available for English users.
With this App, one can impress friends and relatives just by asking, if they know what Abraham Lincoln said about being rich or what Barack Obama recently said about bureaucracy. Using full text search it is possible to search for people or even for quotes. It is also possible to browse the different categories like Advice, Cynicism, Humor etc. in order to find the right quote. All available without an Internet connection.
Quotes can be shared via E-Mail, facebook or twitter with other people. For later reference, quotes can also be bookmarked. There is a “Quote of the day” which randomly selects a different quote for every day on the opening screen of the App. What this App makes unique is not just the quality of the selected quotes but also the great user interface with images and information about all authors of each single quote.
