Vancouver, Wash. – One app development company thinks friends should tell friends about an App Store holiday sale that will make their new iPhone or iPod touch a true file-sharing device – for 30 to 40 percent less. For a limited time this holiday season, Avatron(r) Software has “slashed” the prices of its two acclaimed iPhone productivity apps: Air Sharing(r) is 40 percent off, or $2.99, and Air Sharing Pro is 30 percent off, or $6.99, according to Dave Howell, Avatron‘s CEO.

“Sharing the news of a great holiday sale with family and friends is at least part of what the holidays are about,” Howell said. “Of course, we think our feature-packed apps are a great value at their regular prices, but it’s just that time of year for a quick sale!”

The Air Sharing platform allows users to access, view, share, store and manage files with the iPhone and iPod touch. The apps allow users to wirelessly connect their handheld devices to Mac, PC or Linux computers as an external Wi-Fi drive to drag and drop documents between the machines.
