Christchurch, New Zealand – App City announces Refresh Me 1.0.1 for iPhone and iPod touch. Refresh Me is a 5 minute guided meditation app designed to relax and energize the user. It uses voice over narration and nature sound effects to immerse the user in a more peaceful and tranquil environment.
The narrator begins the guided meditation with a countdown technique to relax the user and prepare them for the experience to follow. In the second stage of the meditation, the narrator takes the user into a peaceful, forest setting complete with birdsong and a bubbling brook. In the final stage, the narrator repeats the counting technique to bring the user back out of the meditation.
The narrator Chris Corso, has studied and used various meditation techniques over a 30 year period. His research led him to design this 5 minute guided meditation app, Refresh Me, for iPhone and iPod users, interested in a new way of reducing stress from daily life. Refresh Me offers people time out from a busy world and can also help to revitalize the mind, body and spirit. Studies have shown that daily meditation calms and then stimulates brain activity, increasing mental clarity and acuity.
