ShoppingiPhone 3G to Launch in Russia on October 3rd
Let’s see, we were told at the WWDC that the iPhone is coming by the end of the year in about 70 countries with more to be added up. Simultaneous launch of the 3G iPhone is going to occur on July 11th in about 22 countries. But what happens to Russia and China, two really big countries with lots of potential subscribers interested in smuggling buying the device.
Apparently Apple has never looked away from any of these countries and the iPhone will be officially be launched in both. We don’t know that much about China for now but as for Russia, local carriers are definitely interested into bringing the device on Russian soil. Apple has been negotiation without reaching a final agreement. I wonder if it’s a money issue or a technological issue.
