Google readies Google Talk for the iPhone

After having created iPhone-focused versions of nearly all Google applications, Google has finally come out with a Google Talk application for iPhone. Google Talk for iPhone, designed specifically for Apple‘s Safari browser on iPhone and iPod Touch, requires no installation. Prior to this, third-party instant messaging service providers like eBuddy offered Google Talk Mobile for the mobile platform, including iPhone. Google Talk‘s web version, Google Talk gadget, doesn’t work with Adobe Flash, which is not supported on iPhone. Thus, Google Talk for iPhone aims to overcome this pitfall.
