ShoppingNextrials announces Prism clinical information manager for the iphone
Nextrials, Inc. announced that its Prism® clinical trial data management platform will now support remote access via the Apple® iPhone™. By literally placing Prism in the pockets of researchers, Nextrials enables anytime/anywhere access to ongoing clinical trial data and allows users to view that data in the same graphical formats traditionally generated by Prism for a desktop computer. Support for the iPhone puts Prism at the researcher’s fingertips, regardless of locale, delivering an on-the-go ability to navigate data and generate the most current reports.
“Clinical studies have evolved to encompass an increasingly mobile workforce,” said James Rogers, CEO and co-founder of Nextrials. “By adding support for the iPhone, Prism increases its usefulness to sites and sponsors, particularly those who need access to clinical data while on the move. Researchers can now view clinical data in real-time on an iPhone at any place supported by the device’s wireless carrier, and to see that data within the same user-friendly reports and graphs they are utilizing in the office.”
Nextrials has also equipped its customer service staff with iPhones, boosting remote interface capabilities for troubleshooting and help desk support.
